'Horizons Talent runs an excellent development program for our talented managers, the program is known as Smiths Horizons. I have worked with the program on two occasions; the first when one of my managers undertook the Horizons Program and the second when I sponsored a project for one of the groups. The program gives our managers exposure to real business problems. It challenges them to work together in groups to develop solutions. The program operates across all divisions of Smiths Group; it is an excellent forum for participants to learn about the divisions they do not work in.
